Myrna Santana was my mother. She was an amazing woman who was born too soon and never found the true love of her life. Although she searched, the only men she found was Johnnie Walker and others like it. I wish my mother had found true happiness with someone, but that was not to be. Mom succumbed to liver cancer after a long and brave battle on May 2, 2009. It was the worst day of my life. At moms request, she was cremated and her ashes, along with her old friend Al, were scattered in the Gulf of Mexico. I miss her everyday! I love you mom!!

Gary was my husband and the father of our 3 children. He was a loving man who adored his family. After years of smoking, Gary developed metastatic lung cancer. He succumbed on Febuary 28,2002 at 9:45 at night. His loving wife was with him as he passed away at home. His memorial service was March 14th, 3 days before his granddaughter was born. It was held at Auchmoody Funeral Home in Fishkill, NY. Gary was cremated and laid to rest in the town of his mothers birth, as per his wishes.

Frankie was my brother in law, a second dad to my kids and my friend. He was a proud gay man. The first I had ever met. He introduced me to his world and I'm a better person for it. I was supposed to go to lunch with Frankie a few days after he died. He marked it on his calendar. I cry everytime I think about that. I am proud of who he was. He was funny and caring. He showed me love, always. I don't want his death to be in vain. I make sure his memory stays alive!
