Walter Norris was a brilliant pianist, a virtuoso whose improvisations can be both very complex harmonically yet often remain melodic. His varied career includes eight years as a pianist, musical director, and entertainment manager for New York’s Playboy Club. In addition, he has authored noted books on the piano.
